How long
until my website is up and running?
From start
to finish, most church website design projects
will take between 4-6 weeks. We have, however,
completed projects that have supplied all
necessary materials and approved final design
and are in a rush in as little as two weeks.
Is my
site truly custom, or do you use templates?
We do
not use any pre-built templates, nor do we
resell templates like many of our competitors.
Your website is designed specifically for your
organization. Your organization is unique, your
website should be too.
I want a
website, what do you need from me?
Let us
know more about your organization: who you are,
what you stand for, and what sort of design
you're interested in. Once we've agreed on a
final design concept, we'll need an outline of
your menu options and page names. We'll also
need any content you have for those pages (text,
photos, etc). Christian Pathway will load your
information for you prior to launch (excluding
calendar items and photo gallery images). We
take care of it all, so your site is 100%
complete when we turn it over to you!
How easy
it it to update my website?
If you
can use Microsoft Word, then you can update your
website. Our content management system is a
breeze to use. This web-based application allows
users with no web design knowledge to make
changes to your site. Additionally, all our
clients will receive an hour-long training
session prior to launch, so you feel comfortable
making changes once your site is live.
Who owns
the site?
You do.
All we ask is credit for our work. When your
site launches, you will receive all our files on
a disk. Should you choose not to host with us
after your contract period, you may take your
design and HTML coding wherever you like.
However, our features within the content
management system, Pathway Manager, remain the
property of Christian Pathway.
I
already have a design I like, can I still use
you?
Yes. We
have taken several client's designs and turned
them into functioning websites. Typically, we
charge 1/2 of the design and setup fee as it
still takes a considerable amount of work to
slice a design and rebuild it into HTML and
insert our features. However, it can be done.
